ABOUT
Veruschka Guerra, illustrator and art teacher, specialized in children's illustration in Sarmede, Italy, at the Fondazione di Illustrazione per l'Infanzia Stepan Zavrel and studied at the MAC (Museum of Contemporary Art of Pernambuco).
During her childhood, she experienced all the colors and diversity of the Olinda Carnivals and, at the same time, all the traditional architecture around her during vacations at her grandmother's house. This defined a foundation for her color palettes, movement, and the integration between characters and the environment.
She is inspired by the delicate details of nature, its rich diversity, colors, and patterns, and at the same time, by all its exuberance.
On her travels, she is enchanted by the cultural diversity of each people, their various palettes, crafts, clothing, and architecture, which is why much of her work focuses on traditional and classic stories based on legends from different countries, but always with vibrant colors and attention to detail.
She loves the smell of rain in the forest, the expressions of children, a coffee with tapioca, coconut water while gazing at the sea, and painting, painting, and painting!
Veruschka has illustrated for companies in Brazil, Canada, England, New Zealand, Portugal, South Korea, and the United States in the areas of children's and young adult literature, educational materials, religion, coloring books, campaign posters, and image licensing for puzzles and stationery.

Veruschka Guerra, ilustradora e professora de arte, se especializou em ilustração infantil em Sarmede, Itália, na Fondazione di Illustrazione per l'Infanzia Stepan Zavrel e estudou no MAC Museu de Arte Contemporânea de Pernambuco.
Vivenciou durante sua infância todas as cores e diversidade dos Carnavais de Olinda e ao mesmo tempo toda a arquitetura tradicional à sua volta, durante as férias na casa da avó. Isso definiu uma base de paletas de cores, movimento, integração entre personagens e meio ambiente.
Ela se inspira nos delicados detalhes da natureza, sua rica diversidade, cores e padrões, e ao mesmo tempo em toda sua exuberância.
Em viagens ela se encanta com a diversidade cultural de cada povo, suas diversas paletas, artesanato, vestuário e arquitetura, e é por isso que grande parte de seu trabalho se concentra em histórias tradicionais e clássicas baseadas lendas de diferentes países mas sempre com cores vibrantes e detalhismo.
Ela ama o cheiro da chuva na mata, as expressões das crianças, um cafezinho com tapioca, uma água de coco olhando o mar e pintar, pintar e pintar!
Veruschka ilustrou para empresas no Brasil, Canadá, Inglaterra, Nova Zelândia, Portugal, Coreia do Sul e Estados Unidos nas áreas de literatura infantil, juvenil, didáticos, religião, livros de colorir, pôsteres para campanhas e licenciamento de imagens para quebra-cabeças e papelaria.
